In this presentation, I will demonstrate the application of various
modeling techniques—including light curve analysis, Doppler
tomography, MESA evolutionary calculations, and donor star spectral
modeling—to determine the fundamental properties of the unusual close
binary system EI Psc, a cataclysmic variable characterized by an
ultra-short orbital period and an atypically hot secondary star.
