Instructions for Talks

Details for presenters (boards, sizes, upload, and logistics)

Talk Lengths

  • Overview: 26 + 3.5 + 0.5 minutes
  • Invited: 17 + 2.5 + 0.5 minutes
  • Contributed: 12 + 2.5 + 0.5 minutes
Important for online speakers: Ensenada and Mexico City are in different time zones. The conference takes place in Ensenada (same as California). Please make sure you have the correct Ensenada time for your talk.

Slides Upload (PDF)

If you are giving a talk, please upload a PDF version of your slides at least 24 hours prior to your presentation.

Open Slides Folder (PDF)

The idea is to use a single computer for the conference and project the PDF version of your slides. If really necessary, you may use your own computer via Wi-Fi and Zoom screen sharing. Everyone should test their presentation at the venue during the break preceding their session.

Online Talks

If you are giving an online talk, please also upload an MP4 pre-recording of your talk at least 24 hours prior to your presentation. The recording will only be used in case of an emergency.

Open MP4 Recordings Folder

The plan is that you give your talk live via Zoom and answer questions from the audience. You can use Zoom to pre-record your talk.

Recordings & Materials

All talks will be recorded. Recordings, slides, and electronic versions of posters will be made available to registered participants. Please make sure to upload your materials to the appropriate folders:
