Abstract
Two photometric systems are given to measure the total absorption of the hydrogen line Hα and that of the neutral oxygen triplet (λ7774A). We have observed 31 Am stars in these systems to confirm the results obtained from the Hyades stars, namely the Hα, OI photometry neatly separates Am from normal A-stars.
