Abstract
In the last two years, the astrolabe at Valinhos 0 (λ = +3h07m; φ= -23 0O') has been used at 45° zenith distance with a reflection prism. During 1983 both 30° and 45° zenith distance were observed for the sake of comparison. Currently, in order to increase the observations of the Third Catalogue (VL3), which is part of a major southern general astrolabe catalogue, only the 45° observations are being made. The raw results in time and latitude, for the last two years, without internal and external corrections, are presented. The curves are compared to those obtained with the BIH data.
