Abstract
Early models for the atmosphere and envelope of T Tauri stars based on the solar analogy are reviewed and criticized. Disk emission is described in terms of active and passive disk models and discussed at the light of the observations. Recent results on the temperature, mass loss rate, and geometry of the extended expanding region are reviewed.Similar Articles
