Abstract
A brief discussion is given of the work in progress at Santiago in order to obtain a more complete list of quasars from their color and from spectroscopic methods. Several telescopes are involved in such a survey, including the m of Cerro Tololo, the 3.6-m of Cerro La Silla and the 2.5-m of Cerro Las Campanas, in order to provide photographic, photometric and spectroscopic information.
