Abstract
Objective prism plates are used to determine positions, approximate radial velocities, magnitudes, and spectral types for 10055 stars in a selected southern zone. The catalogue produced is the first part of an extensive survey which serves as a finding list for possible high velocity stars, and which may contribute to the study of the kinematic characteristics of the Milky Way Galaxy. The catalogue is presented on microfiche.
