Abstract
Optical linear polarization data has been obtained for members of the open clusters M15 and NGC 6334/6357. The data has been fitted by Serkowski's interstellar polarization cure in an effort to, together with visual/IR photometric measurements, ascertain the grain properties of these two regions which have abnormally high values of absorption to extinction ratio (R). Preliminary modelling indicate also very high values of the Serkowski's parameter K. Full results shall be published in Astronomy and Astrophysics.Similar Articles
