Abstract
A deep radio survey of a 100 x 6' region around the North Ecliptical Pole was made with the 100 m dish of Effelsberg. The observations were made at 2695 MHz, with a spatial resolution of 4.'3. 467 radiosources with flux densities greater than 12 mJy were detected. Only 18 of these sources have been previously detected. The survey is considered complete for flux densities greater than 20 mJy. The strongest sources have also been observed at 6 em. The identification of some of the sources with optical, infrared or X-ray counterparts is discussed. This survey is also important, because of its high sensitivity, in relation with counts of low flux density radiosources.
