Abstract
Some numerical solutions via local characteristic approach have been obtained describing multidimensional flows. These solutions have been used as tests of a two- dimensional code which extends some high-resolution shock-captunng methods, designed recently to solve nonlinear hyperbolic systems of conservation laws.
