Abstract
We have observed Nova Cygni 1975 during the nights of August 30 to September 28, 1975 with the Thirteen-Color Photometric System. The time evolution of some important spectral features in novae phenomena is inferred from this photometry. Short period regular light variations were observed on the nights of September 3, 4 and 22, 1975. Analyses of the short period variability show that there is a continuous change in period from September 4 to September 24, 1975. From September 24, 1975 on the period remains constant until the end of 1976. A binary system with a small eccentricity seems to be an adequate one to describe the behavior of Nova VI 500 Cygni 1975.
