The dimensions of (6) Hebe as a result of occultation observations. (1978). Revista Mexicana De Astronomía Y Astrofísica, 4(1), 205-208. https://astronomia.unam.mx/journals/rmxaa/article/view/1979rmxaa...4..205d

Abstract

The results of occultation observations of the star Gamma Ceti, through which a lower limit for the diameter of Hebe was obtained, are given. The results of d equals 190.4 plus or minus 7.8 km is in agreement with values obtained by other, less direct methods. The importance of having predictions based on plates containing the images of both objects is stressed. Finally, it is shown, in the case of Hebe, that occultation methods can also give an approximate idea of the form of the object.
