Abstract
Photographic and spectroscopic observations of a group of southern planetary nebulae and symbiotic stars are presented. The photographs have been taken in the visual region of the spectrum and in the lines [O III] λ5007 and Hα. The spectra cover, in general, the region λλ3400 - 8600 Å.
