Abstract
A description of the behavior of HD 47129 on ground-based observations and a preliminary account of the behavior of the resonance doublet of Si IV in the ultraviolet are presented. The importance of the object from the evolutionary point of view and the desirability of a concentrated, cooperative observing effort in as wide a wavelength range as possible and throughout the orbital cycle, are stressed.Similar Articles
