Abstract
The energy fluctuations in stellar binary systems are studied, using the model where the accretion atmosphere is considered as a radiant gas sphere, endowed with "thermomechanical" oscillations. The analytical solutions for the state variables are obtained and compared with the hydrostatic model solutions. The model describes the X-ray burster quite well.Similar Articles
