Copyright statutes

Publishing Licenses

In the case of RMxAC, the Institute of Astronomy of UNAM and the Responsible Editor have yielded the management of rights to the Special Editors of each of the published conferences, so that the distribution of conference material is free of charge via the internet worldwide.

The authorship group retains intellectual property rights, such as patent rights applicable to any process, procedure, or manufactured article described in the work, as well as rights to any dataset published with it. All content and references must be in strict compliance with Mexican copyright law, the Ley Federal del Derecho de Autor.

This publication holds the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International license (CC BY-SA 4.0). This license allows copying and distributing RMxAC material in any medium or format for any purpose, as long as appropriate credit is given and it is clearly indicated if changes were made. Digital Preservation Policy

The contents of the journal are digitally preserved at the Institute of Astronomy of UNAM, and backups of the OJS platform are permanently managed with copies safeguarded in various repositories and servers inside and outside UNAM and Mexico, such as the repository of the Astrophysics Data System (ADS) of the Center for Astrophysics, Harvard & Smithsonian in the United States and the University of Strasbourg in France.

Self-Archiving Policies

Authors are authorized to publish their work in institutional repositories and websites, on the authors' personal web pages, as well as on social or academic networks before and during the submission process; this can lead to productive exchanges and greater and earlier citation of the published work. If doing so, the text must clearly identify the work as a submitted, under review, accepted, etc., document.

Once published, we suggest that when authors share their articles across different platforms, they do so using the Digital Object Identifier (DOI) provided for each article published in RMxAC. This prevents the indexing of temporary or subject-to-change URLs and promotes the proper tracking of views, reads, and citations.

Indexing

RMxAC is included in the Astrophysics Data System, ADS, https://ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/, which is an open-access bibliographic database.
